Counselling is an important component of any form of therapy. I certainly talk with my clients on a whole range of levels on a wide range of subjects.

My training in counselling has been broad and my formal training was with Unifam where I gained a Diploma in Individual, Couple and Family Counselling.

I often share with clients a simple communication skill that I personally have found invaluable and the feedback from clients who apply this skill is always positive.

Sometimes verbalising personal issues gives a client some order and insight and the expressing and sharing with another may help in finding other more appropriate ways of behaving and feeling that can be most beneficial.
